Over Alaska, a KCTS 2001 production, premiered
on PBS television October 1, 2002. The show featured coverage
of the WP&YR with Engine 40 (leased from the Georgetown Loop

Harry Clay Barley was
hired to photograph construction of the White Pass & Yukon
Route as well as to serve as an accountant. He arrived in Skagway
in July or August of 1898 and therefore had the opportunity to
document much of the railroad's construction. A small but excellent
sample of his photographs were on display at the Yukon Archives in Whitehorse

under the 2001 Stamp Program, Tourist Attractions Series, depicting
the historical White Pass & Yukon Route.
